Bob Ott has specialized in the field
of executive recruitment for the past 25 yrs. He graduated from Quincy University in 1972 with a BA degree in Psychology and
was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” in 1986. He spent 3 yrs. as Regional Training Manager for the Magnavox Corporation.
In 1979, he began his executive search career with the Roth Young Organization of Chicago. By 1981, he opened his own search
firm called “Consumer Search Inc.” specializing in the recruitment of upper level Sales and Marketing executives
in the Electronic industry.
From
1990 to the present, he specialized in the Telecommunication industry.During this time he has successfully completed well over a hundred executive searches in the Wireless,
Cable and CLEC industry serving companies with revenues from $2M to $6B. He understands
the value of mental toughness and the importance of winning! Throughout his life he has excelled in sports winning “
Athlete of Year” and “Most Valuable Player” awards numerous times. He studied six years for the Priesthood
and received an “Honorable discharge” from the Military in 1978. He is listed in “Who, Who in America”.
Bob was drafted out of Quincy University and played three years for the Chicago Cubs organization as a pitcher. He is married,
has 5 children and currently resides in San Antonio, Texas.
